Drainage Devices

Drainage Devices

Hillside drains have to work perfectly in order to protect surface and subsurface soils.  All drainage devices we build are engineered. Water should always be controlled and transported in non erosive devices to the street or approved storm inlets.

This v-ditch is supported by a 5 foot deep footing near the property line. The adjacent soil was compacted and regraded to provide efficient surface flow.  This drainage device was designed to keep surface water from flowing toward the neighboring property.

A channel drain was added in front of the garage to collect surface water.

Poor drainage may cause retaining walls, slopes, and  foundations to fail.
